Yahoos and Triangles (more commonly known as the King of the Hill Theme) is the theme song for the 1997 FOX series, King of the Hill, composed by the rock band The Refreshments. It was played in the beginning and the show credits. Despite not having lyrics, there are multiple versions of the song, such as a version with a "Yahoo!" in the beginning. The theme songs catchy melody and infectious energy captures the essence of the show.

Trivia[]

  • In The Simpsons episode, Helter Shelter, the song and the intro of the show is parodied. The scene in which the Simpsons wait outside their house waiting for time to "fly by" is a parody of the opening sequence of King of the Hill.
  • There are two versions of this song, one with a cowbell and a Christmas version.
  • An alternative version of the theme was featured as the final song on the show's Soundtrack, featuring someone shouting "Yahoo!" and a short guitar solo during the bell section.
