History[]
Season 11[]
When Reverend Stroup began openly dating Bill Dauterive, Sue and the parishioners at Arlen First Methodist Church were horrified at the revelation. One night, she and her husband Justin went to see the horror movie He's in the House, but they were surprised to see Bill and Karen outside the movie theater. They immediately tried to walk away, but Stroup noticed them and said hello, prompting Sue to turn around and awkwardly greet them. Stroup joked that she was going to hold onto Bill during the horror movie, and Sue listened in discomfort. While in the theater, during the screening, she and the other moviegoers were scared not by the movie, but by Bill and Stroup making out with each other.
Frustrated with Bill and Karen's public displays of affection, Sue and other members of the church building committee summoned Hank Hill under false pretenses. Whereas the other members tried to use implicit phrases for their dislike of the relationship, she outright told Hank that she was disgusted. Sue also declared her desire to break up the two, causing another board member to politely disagree and advise Hank to ask Bill and Karen to tone down their public affection.
