Seinfeld is an American television sitcom created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld. It aired on NBC from July 5, 1989, to May 14, 1998, for nine seasons consisting of 180 episodes. The show's ensemble cast stars Seinfeld as a fictionalized version of himself and focuses on his personal life with three of his friends: best friend George Costanza (Jason Alexander), former girlfriend Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and neighbor from across the hall, Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards).

Season 1[]

In Season 1 episode "Pilot", the opening scene features Hank Hill, Dale Gribble, Bill Dauterive, and Jeff Boomhauer discussing the television show as they are working on Hank's 1993 Ford Ranger.

Season 9[]

In Season 9 episode "Gone with the Windstorm", Tom Chick instructs the Channel 84 News staff and crew that meteorologist Irv Bennett informed him of a wildfire. Tom instructs that he wants the Action News Team, consisting of lead anchor Miguel Hernandez, sportscaster Don Ringle, and Irv Bennett, to provide coverage on the situation as soon the Channel 84 broadcast of Seinfeld ends.
