Season 17 of King of the Hill was announced on October 30, 2025. It is expected to premiere on Hulu in 2028.

A hilarious slice of middle-class life in small-town America, King of the Hill has become one of television's most beloved and longest-running prime-time animated series. • This will be the third season without Johnny Hardwick's involvement following his death in 2023.
• This will be the fourth season to be released after 21st Century FOX got bought out by Disney.
• This will be the third season since his takeover for Victor Aaron without Jonathan Joss's involvement following his death in 2025, it also currently remains uncertain if John Redcorn will appear in this season or be written out following Joss's death.
