History[]
Season 1[]
When Luanne brings up the topic of men dyeing their hair to Hank, she mentions that lots of people, including President Reagan did. Hank gets defensive and claims that if he dyed his hair, it was only to show his strength to the Russians.
Season 2[]
When Cotton is preparing for his vision test to get his drivers license, he comes up with the mnemonic "Some day Governor Reagan will run for president", based on the chart letters. Cotton repeats it at the DMV, unaware that Hank had asked the clerk to switch the charts and he ends up failing the eye test. Later, as he's dragged away by the police, Cotton cries out his mnemonic as he's put into the squad car.
Season 3[]
As Peggy leaves for school, she claims that she will scare her students in the same way President Reagan scared the Russians with his Star Wars defense program. Upon hearing this, Hank expresses that he misses voting for him.
Season 8[]
When Hank makes Bobby redo his oral report on an American president, he asks which one he should do, before deciding on Ronald Reagan.
Season 10[]
According to Spongy, he's been homeless "Since Ronald Reagan kicked me out of my mental hospital". When he repeats this statement to Hank, he tells Spongy it was complicated and that "Dutch was trying to win a cold war", and then he trailed off.
