After Peggy becomes temporarily paralyzed from the waist down, Ramsey becomes her physical therapist after her upper body is mobile. When she first meets him, he tells her he wants to begin her recovery, but he will not see her until the next week. At Peggy's first session and others, Ramsey merely gives her motivational support rather than hands-on help with doing physical exercises. After Cotton Hill teases Peggy for her lack of recovery with Ramsey, she decides to instead have Cotton as her recovery coach.
