Rainey Street (occasionally spelled Rainy Street) is the name of a road in Arlen, Texas, where the Hills, Gribbles, and Souphanousinphones reside at. The Alley is located behind Rainey Street.
The Rainey Street Country Club is an informal social/golfing club founded by residents Hank Hill and Dale Gribble (along with Bill Dauterive and (Jeff) Boomhauer, both of whom live across the Alley and may or may not be residents of Rainey Street) and includes Kahn Souphanousinphone as a member.
The "Guys" as Peggy refers to them, typically stand by the alley and drink Alamo Beer all day, surprisingly not getting drunk.
Current and former residents of Rainey Street[]
- 73 Rainey Street, Arlen, TX 73104[1]
- Jeff Boomhauer (The location of Boomhauer's house is inconsistent during the series. The address shown on his driver's license would place him on the same side of the alley as Hank, Dale, and Kahn. However, in "Uh-oh, Canada", the rear of Boomhauer's house is shown to be across the alley from Dale's house, diagonally across to the right from Hank's back yard, which would place the front door of his house (and its address) on Milton Street, the same street where Bill, Luanne and Lucky live.)
