Mrs. Gribble was the wife of Bug Gribble, the legal grandmother of Joseph Gribble, the mother-in-law of Nancy Gribble and Dale Gribble’s mother she is deceased. She did not appear in the flashbacks of Dale's wedding in the episode My Own Private Rodeo, which implies she died before 1982.
Dale Gribble's mother did appear in Dale's traumatic nightmare about the dummy Chip Block in the episode Now Who's the Dummy?.
She smoked cigarettes like her son and could play the piano.
