Michael Craig Judge (born October 17, 1962) is the co-creator of King of the Hill, and also voices Hank Hill, Boomhauer, and various minor and recurring characters.
Prior to King of the Hill, Judge was famous for the MTV series Beavis & Butt-Head, about two dimwitted ne'er-do-wells, which achieved popularity. Although neither of the titular characters ever made an appearance on King of the Hill, a minor character on the show, Tom Anderson, did serve as a precursor for King of the Hill. Hank Hill was considered to be a younger version of Tom Anderson.
Mike Judge also directed three live-action movies, Office Space, Idiocracy and Extract; the first two featured Stephen Root, who was the voice of Bill and Buck.
Mike was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He now resides in Austin, Texas.
