History[]
Season 2[]
In "Meet the Manger Babies", as Luanne pitches the idea of a Christian puppet show to Reverend Thomason, he expresses concern with Luanne performing for children in the Arlen First Methodist Church's activity room as new carpet was recently laid. His concern is that putting 30 kids in the room and losing their attention will cause them to spill fruit punch all over the new carpet. The reception to Luanne's first performance does not go as planned as many children are yawning and have lost their attention. The kid with the juice says that he is bored and nearly spills juice on the new carpet as a concerned Reverend Thomason looks on. Hank Hill saves Luanne by improvisation the ending of her show. He ends the show by informing the children to never forget the lesson that sneaking into the movies is wrong and its as wrong as spilling juice on a new carpet.
