Some time before the homecoming dance at her school, Harris had not been asked out by any student supposedly because she has a tiny hole in her heart. When she was in the hallway one day, Acne Pete came up to her and attempted to ask her out, but Bobby Hill cut him off and desperately asked her to go to the dance with him. Politely turning him down, she said that Bobby was sweet but did not want to go with him.
