Kahn's father or Laoma's husband is the deceased patriarch of the Souphanousinphone Family and husband of Laoma Souphanousinphone. He is the father to his three sons Kahn and two unnamed sons, who are the fathers to Tid Pao and Kahn's delinquent nephew. He is the grandfather to three grandchildren Connie, Tid Pao, and Phonsawan. Minh is his daughter-in-law and Trang is his nephew.

Appearance[]

Kahn's father is an elderly Laotian man with balding gray hair and tan skin. In his portrait in Laoma's room at the Souphanousinphone residence, he wears a dark colored suit with tie.

In "Nine Pretty Darn Angry Men", Khan states, "I have father issues too", implying that their relationship was troubled.

Season 7[]

Laoma reveals to Bill Dauterive that her husband passed away from a heart attack. Laoma who is Buddhist references reincarnation in her disclosure to Bill, believing her husband returned as the gentle wind that currently blows through the meadow they are in.
