Jorge Lopez is a minor character and acquaintance of Cotton Hill and his war buddies.

Appearance[]

Lopez is an elderly Hispanic man who is "half-Mexican and half-Cuban" according to Cotton. He has a skinny build, tan skin, and short gray hair. He uses a wheelchair for mobility and wears a blue jacket over a beige shirt, brown pants, and dark-brown shoes.

History[]

Season 5[]

In "Yankee Hankee", Lopez was summoned by Cotton to San Antonio so that he and other fellow U.S. military veterans could carry out their plan to assassinate Cuban president Fidel Castro. Once he arrived outside the Alamo on a bus, he reconvened with Cotton, who subsequently tied Hank's hands together after making him drunk to frame him for their conspiracy. When Hank retorted that he would not allow his father to carry out his assassination plot, Cotton ordered Lopez to remove Hank's clothes while Stinky tossed Hank over the fence. Taking Hank's truck, they went to the coast and prepared their small boat, with Stinky helping Lopez carry the box of weapons onboard. At that point, Hank arrived to dissuade them from leaving, but Topsy Toppington scared him into falling overboard. Stinky tried to shoot at Hank in the water, prompting Lopez to cover his head from the gunfire. Hank revealed that he was alive and removed the boat's spark plugs, though Cotton was adamant in continuing the mission. In contrast, Lopez and the other elderly men did not want to go through with the plot, so Cotton begrudgingly agreed due to the plan's clear impossibility.

Season 6[]

In "Unfortunate Son", Lopez was seen among the veterans at the Arlen VFW who were evicted from the building because they were in great debt from not paying rent.
