Johnny Hardwick (December 31, 1958 - August 8, 2023) was a voice actor, writer and producer for King of the Hill. He provided the voice for Dale Gribble and other minor characters like Tug.
Hardwick was a native of Austin, Texas. He performed stand-up comedy after graduating from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He was approached by Greg Daniels for a writing job for King of the Hill at one of his shows.
