History[]

Season 2[]

In "Propane Boom", Joe decided to join Hank, Ray Holiday, and Mark McJimsey's protest against Mega Lo Mart as payback against the superstore for forcing local small businesses to close down due to lower prices. At night, he gathered with the men behind the store to discuss the plan, with Hank telling them that they would use kazoos to disrupt Chuck Mangione's "America Loves Mega Lo Mart" concert. On the morning before the concert, Joe received a kazoo from Hank, who told him and the others that he would be back with something in place of a kazoo for better results. Before Mangione got on stage, Joe kept his hand in his pocket to grasp onto his kazoo. When Mangione introduced himself and prepared to play a song, Hank was not present, but Joe and the others nonetheless blew into their kazoos instead of humming. This created a softer noise, though Mangione noticed it and was confused until a "Mega Lo Mart destroys small businesses" banner rolled down in front of the concert stage sign. Seconds later, an explosion inside the Mega Lo Mart occurred, scaring away Joe and the various people in the crowd.

Season 3[]

In "Death of a Propane Salesman", Joe attended Buckley's funeral after the latter was killed in the Mega Lo Mart explosion which he accidentally caused by mishandling propane tanks.

Season 7[]

In "Megalo Dale", Joe was seen performing jumping jacks outside Mega Lo Mart before it opened, per Norm Gladwell's mandatory employee exercise policy.
