History[]

Season 10[]

Jim initially seemed to get along quite well with Hank and Peggy Hill, but Jim and Lila are far more liberal in their parenting approach, refusing to discipline Caleb. Jim and Lila believe that their troubled son is a creative prodigy who shows he likes a person by bullying them. Since Caleb continues to harass Hank without discipline, Hank has Bobby act like Caleb to Jim and Lila. Jim confronts Hank over Bobby's behavior, and Hank calmly states that Bobby is expressing himself just like Caleb is. Hank points to Caleb damaging Hank's lawn, and Bobby threatens to shoot an unknown liquid at Jim and Lila if they refuse to stop Caleb from harassing Hank and damaging his property. Jim yells at Caleb to get off Hank's lawn, and Caleb stops harassing Hank.

Season 13[]

In "Born Again on the Fourth of July", he, Lila and Caleb gathered with Rainey Street residents on July 2nd in Hank's house to discuss Milton Street residents allegedly destroying Hank's papier mâché statue of Uncle Sam. On July 3rd, the next night, a food fight between the two streets began. Jim helped Hank and the others gather food to launch at Heck Dorland's house. When they successfully forced several residents into the house, they ran toward their shed, but Heck deployed a fire hose on them, forcing them to take cover. During the last few seconds of food slinging, one egg each hit Jim in the left shoulder and right leg. Seconds later, Bobby was able to make a call for peace since he confessed to destroying Hank's statue and wanted everyone to come together for the 4th of July holiday celebration instead of fighting.
