The unnamed Hippie Woman is the leader of an environmental protest in "The Order of the Straight Arrow". She tends to be very dramatic, which greatly annoys Hank Hill, and her "leftist" ranting causes Dale Gribble to start ranting back along with Hank. Hank is also annoyed by the fact that she does not seem to be wearing any bra. She calls the forest ranger for help after finding out that The Order of the Straight Arrow scout troop (unintentionally) supposedly killed The Whooping Crane. The Hippie Woman is also seen very briefly in a background scene, making a hasty exit from Boomhauer's tent, implying that the two hooked up during the night at some point. She is suggested to be somewhat unhygienic, with greasy-looking hair, faded clothes and visibly hairy armpits when she raises her arms high in the air. She is also shown as proud to have caused the loss of numerous logging jobs and high unemployment rates in the name of "environmentalism". Despite her abrasive nature, the Hippie Woman means well, caring a great deal about endangered animals and having a lot of empathy for the "murdered" whooping crane when she spots Bobby and Hank fighting over its (apparently) deceased corpse atop a drink cooler.
