History[]

Season 2[]

Deputy Clint "Radar" Jemson races Boomhauer at a stop light in his 1977 Chevy Nova. But when Boomhauer beats him in the race, the officer places a portable red beacon light on the roof of his car and signals him to pull over, getting out and revealing he was a deputy the whole time. But promptly forgets about the speeding ticket and offers Boomhauer a chance to drive the pace car at the speedway when NASCAR comes to Arlen.

Season 4[]

When Debbie Grund was killed, Sheriff Mumford was the lead investigator. Some of his actions during the case were highly questionable, such as his witch-hunt tactics in the investigation, embrace of the media for seemingly his own personal gain, and attempting to get free food from Sugarfoot's while on duty. Texas Ranger Lester Payton was the one that solved the case, much to Sheriff Mumford's dismay.
