Not to be confused with Gracie. Grace Margaret "Gracie" Kleinschmidt is the daughter of Luanne Platter and Lucky Kleinschmidt.
History[]
Luanne revealed her pregnancy to Lucky and the Hill family in "Edu-macating Lucky." The two ended up having a shotgun wedding, according to Lucky's family tradition.
Before her birth, Lucky's sister, Myrna Kleinschmidt, tried to get Luanne and Lucky to follow on her parenting methods and, among other things, wanted Luanne to have a water birth at a clinic called "The Birthing Circle LLC" surrounded by their family and friends with no painkillers until Luanne got cold feet and asked Peggy to step in and take Luanne to a normal hospital.
Luanne, loopy from pain medication, suggested giving Gracie the name "Lasagna" since that meal was one of both Luanne and Lucky's favorite things but thanks to Hank and Peggy intervening, she was named Grace instead. Her middle name is Margaret in honor of Peggy (most likely by Peggy herself.)

Gracie strongly resembles her mother as she inherited Luanne's blonde hair and skin tone.
Personality[]
Gracie is a very happy baby most of the time, giggling and doing random things that make herself laugh.
Trivia[]
- Gracie was born on February 8th, 2009, at The Heimlich County Hospital.
- Shortly before she was born, Gracie's parents agreed to raise her the way monkeys raise their babies, although it is unknown if they went through with this.
- It is unknown if Luanne and Lucky decided to give Gracie the middle name Margaret in honor of Peggy or if Peggy herself took advantage of Luanne being dizzy due to the painkillers to convince her to do it.
- She apparently likes her mother's puppet show "The Manger Babies".
- Gracie is the fourth character to have the same name as a relative, the first being Luanne whose middle name is Leanne, the second being Joseph Gribble, whose middle name is John and the third is G.H. Hill whose real name is "Good Hank".
- Due to Luanne being dizzy from the painkillers, she briefly considered naming Gracie "Lasagna".
