History[]
Season 13[]
One night, Gloria started teaching another baby care class with beginners. Introducing herself, she explained that she would cover many topics on taking care of a baby, including how to soothe their teeth. Raising her hand, Luanne enthusiastically responded that she could soothe a baby's gums by putting scotch on them, stating that she learned that from her aunt Peggy. Surprised, Gloria rejected the idea, asserting that alcohol should never be given to a child. In contrast, Myrna said that she soothed her children's teething pain by giving them frozen peach slices wrapped in a washcloth, impressing the instructor for the solution for the teething pain and the child eating fruit.
Gloria then elaborated that helping a baby sleep at night was essential for its health. Raising her hand again, Luanne answered that one could put a baby on its stomach and surround it with pillows so that it feels secure. Shocked, Gloria retorted that such a solution was known to be very dangerous in the modern day. Pointing to Peggy, she advised the class not to listen to her advice. Taking Luanne's practice doll away from her, Gloria claimed that she did not feel comfortable with Luanne practicing on it due to her aunt's advice, saddening her. It was later stated that Gloria proceeded to remove Lucky and Luanne from the class.
