Dub Taylor was the mascot for the Tom Landry Longhorns in the 70s. He attended school during the same time as Hank, Dale, Bill and Boomhauer, and was the mascot during their 1974 State Championship run. He is also known by, "Rub-a-Dub-Dub," and, "Daffy Dub."
He appears in only one episode, "What Makes Bobby Run?". He is shown to be an overzealous fan of the Arlen football team, even though he has no connection besides being a former mascot. He criticizes Bobby for his lack of enthusiasm and insults Peggy's High School, because she did not attend Arlen High.
