Eugene Grandy is a music teacher at Tom Landry Middle School. He has previously had Bobby, Connie, and Joseph as students. He was voiced by the late John Ritter.

Season 2[]

In the episode "The Son That Got Away" at Tom Landry Middle School, Bobby Hill and Connie Souphanousinphone raise the ire of their music teacher Eugene Grandy when they interrupt his class by adding their own lyrics to popular tunes. As punishment, Grandy calls Hank Hill and Kahn Souphanousinphone to the school and voices his concerns regarding their disruptive behavior. It soon becomes apparent to Grandy that the men have set a bad parental image, but his efforts to change their behavior fail.

  • In the episode "What Makes Bobby Run?", Bobby refers to Eugene Grandy having kicked him out of chorus in the past, a reference to the episode "The Son That Got Away".
