Doggie is the Souphanousinphones' West Highland Terrier. He was a major plot point in the episode "Dances With Dogs" as Bobby's dance partner.
History[]
Season 1[]
In "Westie Side Story", when he was first introduced, Doggie and Lady Bird ran off, causing Hank to mistakenly think that Kahn had served cooked dog to everyone at the barbecue which Kahn was hosting. Later, in "King of the Ant Hill", Kahn walked with Doggie and bantered to Hank about wondering if Doggie should have defecated on Hank's lawn due to its allegedly poor state. After bragging about his own law, Kahn walked back to his front lawn with Doggie.
Season 7[]
Doggie did not appear again until "The Fat and the Furious" when he was seen being walked by Kahn. In "Dances With Dogs", after Hank forbade Bobby from dancing with Lady Bird, Bobby needed a partner for the dog dancing competition. He convinced Kahn to let him use Doggie, a cute, scruffy West Highland Terrier, but he had to clean up Doggie's poop from Kahn's yard (which Bobby describes as "poo like a buffalo"). He and Bobby then practiced in his room to prevent Hank from stealing their material. At the contest, he and Bobby performed an upbeat dance. They ranked second place, whereas Hank and Lady Bird slow-danced but did not become one of the top 3 contestants. Doggie was last seen in this episode with Bobby holding him on the podium. Additionally, the name of the dog-dancing episode is a parody of the name of the book and film Dances with Wolves.
In "Board Games", Doggie was sick with a cold. When Peggy Hill desperately needed a drink of water due to her choking on dry food, she drank from Doggie's bowl as a last resort. It was not until after drinking from his bowl that she learned from Minh about Doggie's cold. The dog then walked next to her and sneezed.
Season 8[]
In "How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Alamo", when Peggy wanted to destroy Flat Stanley in various ways to demonstrate safety and danger to children for a Flat Stanley Project, she gave the Flat Stanley paper to Doggie and Lady Bird to rip apart with their teeth. As the dogs tore it apart, she took a picture of the event and sent it and other photographs to the participating school.
Trivia[]
- During the dance competition, he and Bobby wear matching purple glittery hats and suits.
