History[]
Season 10[]
After an initially positive welcoming, Caleb bullies a perplexed Hank in various ways, such as playing around in his workshop, riding his bike on his lawn and taunting him with the song, "Dusty ol' bones, full of green dust". His parents, Jim and Lila, do nothing, dismissing his behavior as just being creative. Hank tries to discipline Caleb by taking his bike away after being pushed too far, but against his expectations his parents call the police, forcing him to give the bike back. Deciding to fight fire with fire, Hank declares war on Caleb's parents by asking Bobby to deliberately startle them with poppers, knock over their garbage cans and steal Jim's hat, all the while acting like Caleb. Infuriated, Jim and Lila tell Hank about the trouble Bobby has caused, but Hank merely points out that Bobby isn't doing anything Caleb hasn't done already, forcing them to face the reality of their situation as Caleb openly antagonizes Hank on his lawn. After Bobby threatens to shoot them with an unknown brown liquid from a squirtgun, then finally discipline Caleb, ending the problem once and for all.
Season 13[]
Caleb makes a non-speaking cameo appearance in "Born Again on the Fourth of July".
Trivia[]
- Caleb's mother mentions he attends a "school for the gifted", which combined with his behavior implies he has ADHD.
